LFC Staff

John serves as our Senior Pastor. He is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. Continuing his studies, John is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Nazarene Theological Seminary. He has served as Senior Pastor of Kenmore Church of the Nazarene in Akron, Ohio and on the pastoral staff of churches in Shawnee, Kansas and Owego, New York. Pastor John and his wife, Melanie have three boys, Brendan, Liam and Riley.

Gerry serves as one of our Associate Pastors.  He is a graduate of Reynold's Institute and Nazarene Bible College for ministerial studies. Gerry has served the church as a lay pastor since 2000 and as associate pastor since 2005. Currently involved in men's ministries and small group studies as well as serving the New England district as Festival of Life director, Gerry also enjoys playing trumpet with our other fine instrumentalists here at LFC. Gerry and his wife Sharon have raised four children, Michael, Kerri, Kara and Ashley and are enjoying their first grandchild, Keili.

Sharon serves as one of our Associate Pastors.  Sharon is a Reynold's Institute Ministerial student who has served as Youth Director and District NYI event leader and as District NYI Secretary here in New England. She has been on Staff at LFC since 2005 and serves in the Mary Martha Society and sings in the Sanctuary Choir.Sharon and her husband Gerry live in Nashua with their children Michael, Kerri, Kara and Ashley and their granddaughter Keili.

Kim serves as our Pastor to our Cambodian congregation.  Originally from Cambodia where he served in the Army Force during Lon Nol’s regime from 1970 to 1975, Kim was sent officially to the United States as a First Lieutenant in order to train in the Instructor Development Branch of Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Kim had been trained there for only one month when Cambodia collapsed and was taken by the communist Khmer Rouge. Thanks to the grace of God, and the faithfulness of his new sponsor, the Deer Creek Mennonite Church, Kim found a new home in Iowa, where he first discovered the love of God. With this congregation he was both baptized and married to his lovely wife, Savang in 1976. Since then Kim has served in a number of ministry leadership roles, both in Iowa and in Lowell. Early in 2002, Kim sensed a calling to pastoral ministries. Partnering at that time with the Lowell First Church of the Nazarene, Kim has served as the pastor of our home-mission congregation, the Lowell Cambodian Church of ther Nazarene. As a bi-vocational pastor, Kim is also faithful in sharing the Good News of God as he produces a weekly Cambodian Christian television show (CCTV) in the City of Lowell via Lowell Television Communication (LTC). Kim and his wife have three wonderful children.

Tom serves as one of our Associate Pastors.  He began as a lay minister at LFC in 1996 with his wife Pam in the Preschool education program. He has since completed the theological course of study at Reynolds Institute and become an Associate Pastor at LFC. His ministerial focus is in leading a weekly House Church group and facilitating the startup of new House Churches. Tom and Pam have five children and one granddaughter. They continue to minister to the preschool children each week in the Cricket Church during the Sunday morning service time. Tom will soon begin a course of study in Clinical Pastoral Education with the goal of becoming a Chaplain.

Lowell First Church is delighted to have Denise serve in this area of church ministry! She answers the phones, ensures that the church office runs smoothly, and assists our minstry teams and community in a very kind, and loving manner. Denise is a woman who reflects the love of Jesus Christ.
